Amino-PEGn-CH2COOtBu also called H2N-PEG-CH2-BOC, is a group of polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative with an amino group attached to the end of the PEG chain and another end protected by Boc base.  This group of AMINO-PEG linker  a water-soluble, bio-compatible, and non-toxic chemical compound that is used in numerous scientific research applications. The amino group and the t-butyl ester increases the hydrophilicity of the polymer, which has been shown to increase the solubility of drugs and other compounds in aqueous solutions. It is used as a stabilizing agent in the preparation of proteins, peptides, and other macromolecules.
